As a member of the Nuffield Theatre’s Patron Scheme you will have the opportunity to develop a special relationship with one of the region’s most successfully acclaimed producing theatres, whilst providing essential funds to our core activities.
Box Office income and public funding only covers a portion of our annual expenditure. As a charitable organisation with a responsibility to the wider public, we are passionate about keeping our tickets affordable. This means we have to find extra funds from other sources to continue to inspire, create and entertain for future generations.

Inspire
£500+ or £45 per month
Inspire a young person’s future by supporting our educational and community work. Our work with young people can change a life and your support can make that happen.
For instance a gift of £500 could pay for:
• A performance in a school followed by an educational workshop
• Bursaries enabling young people to join one of our Youth Theatres
• A workshop leader to run a week-long Youth Theatre project

Create
£1000+ or £85 per month
Our work behind the scenes is crucial to the creative process and your support can help designers, costume makers, set builders, sound and lighting technicians transform a play to the stage.
For instance a gift of £1,000 could pay for:
• Costumes for one actor in a Nuffield Company Production and their upkeep throughout the run
• Composition of a new musical score for a Nuffield Company Production
• A sound technician to operate the music and sound effects during the run of a Nuffield Company Production

Entertain
£1,500+ or £130 per month
Supporting a production is a unique way to engage with the Nuffield Theatre artistically. The courage to put on exciting, ambitious and thought-provoking theatre is at the heart of what we do, but is also the area where we most need your help.
A gift of £1,500 could pay for:
• Rehearsal space for two weeks
• A contribution towards the £5,000 cost of commissioning a new script
• An actor during the rehearsal period of a Nuffield Company Production
