Nitin Sawhney
The Nuffield will be hosting a day of workshops with the composer Nitin Sawhney, run by the Turner Sims as part of the Creative Campus Initiative. Over 100 local schoolchildren will be working with Nitin and the poet Maggie Harris on the relationship between music and text from other cultures.
The event, held on Tuesday 16 March, will culminate in a talk by Nitin Sawhney at 7.30pm at The Turner Sims. In this unique event, Nitin reflects on the importance of collaboration and creative openness, presenting a retrospective of his work, ideas, and live performances.
