Following sell out runs at (or rather outside...) the Royal Court, this highly acclaimed site-specific performance comes to The Nuffield car park! THE CARAVAN takes place in one of the smallest and most unusual venues you’ll ever visit - a caravan!
In Summer 2007 severe flooding brought misery to thousands of people, destroying homes and livelihoods. As a result of the ensuing chaos, over 2000 households were still living in caravans a year later and over 100 families were still stuck in them two Christmases later.
Following extensive research and interviews, Look Left Look Right present the stories of real people, alongside visual and audio footage inside their very own caravan. With fascinating memories and moving accounts from the people who were worst affected, THE CARAVAN is a timeless piece of theatre that explores the resilience of human nature. You are invited inside as one of 8 people for a 35 minute performance to share in this theatrical experience.
