Open INSET sessions for Teachers and Educators - FREE
In the run up to Shake the Dust, Apples and Snakes in partnership with The Nuffield Theatre is offering a series of INSET training sessions, exploring how teachers and educators can use poetry and spoken word in the classroom.
Spoken word is a powerful tool. Learn how to use it to inspire and motivate young people to share their stories and dreams, and give them a platform to speak out. What is it all about? Build confidence, develop writing skills, motivate young people and inspire minds – this is more than poetry. Renowned poetry slam facilitator Jacob Sam-La Rose is leading evening sessions specifically to develop confidence and skills in supporting young people’s learning and creative expression through performance poetry – not to be missed!
Friday 2nd December 4.30 – 6.30 pm at The Nuffield Theatre, Studio 2
