The Nuffield Young People's Theatre Company
The Nuffield Young People’s Theatre Company is a Youth Theatre Company based at The Nuffield Theatre that works with young people aged between 13 and 19 across Hampshire. We work with professional staff to create and produce a broad range of high quality theatrical experiences. The most important aspects of our work are the teaching and learning of theatre skills and the personal development and growth of every member. We create work in a professional, nurturing environment. Our main focus is working as an Ensemble – working together as a company. We aim to challenge, excite, inspire, and develop young people through the medium of theatre. We aspire to make work that is profound and work that has a clear and distinct voice.
Groups are divided up by genre rather than age; member can choose the kind of work that they are interested in developing. Each group works for two terms on a project and then during the third term members are offered the opportunity to perform in a main stage production at The Nuffield Theatre. All members are given performance opportunities over the year. Each term is approximately 10 weeks and costs £80.00.

The Nuffield Drama Club is a young people’s drama club based at The Nuffield Theatre that works with young people aged between 5 and 13 across Hampshire. Groups meet every Saturday during term time, each group is divided up by age; 5 – 9, 9 – 11, 11 – 13 years old. All members are given performance opportunities over the year. Each term is approximately 10 weeks and costs £80.00.
